The Aneros Helix Syn V is a compact, hands-free vibrating prostate massager. Aneros built it on the shape of its Helix Syn Trident and added a quiet motor with 8 patterns at 3 intensities, 24 settings in all, run from one button. It also works switched off, as a classic Aneros.

The design is what sets Aneros apart: the curved head, the abutment tab that rests on the perineum and the handle all move together. Aneros says a simple contraction makes the Helix Syn V pivot inward and upward, so it presses on the prostate, anus, perineum and K-spot at the same time without your hands.

1. Use the toilet and shower first, then lie on your side with your knees drawn up.
2. Apply plenty of water-based lube to the massager and yourself.
3. Insert it slowly until the tab rests on the perineum; the handle sits between your cheeks.
4. Relax for a few minutes, then try slow, gentle contractions and notice how it moves.
5. Switch the vibration on at the low setting when you want more sensation.

Aneros describes the low setting as a “power assist” that adds sensation without masking how the massager moves. Medium is more than twice as strong, and high is almost three times medium. Take your time: hands-free sessions are slow by nature, and there is no right way to feel.

How do you use the Helix Syn V?

Lie on your side or back, apply plenty of lube and insert it slowly until the perineal tab rests against the perineum. Then relax and use gentle pelvic-floor contractions: Aneros designs it to pivot inward and upward as you contract. Many people start unpowered and add vibration later.

Is the Helix Syn V good for beginners?

Aneros calls it excellent for new, intermediate and advanced users. With 3.6 in insertable and a head under 1 in wide it is a compact size, and you can use it without vibration while you learn.

Is it waterproof?

Aneros doesn’t give an IP rating, and its care page tells owners of electronic models to avoid long-term immersion in water. Wash it with soap and water, but don’t soak it or use it in the bath.
