How the Lovense Remote app works
Every Lovense toy pairs over Bluetooth with the free Lovense Remote app. Once a toy is added, the app gives you three ways to play:
- Close range: control intensity and patterns from your phone, or let a partner in the room do it.
- Long distance: invite a partner in the app and they can control your toy over the internet from anywhere.
- Toy to toy: some toys sync. The Max 2 works as a master controller for a partner’s Nora, Lush 4, Edge 2 and other Lovense toys.
Most models also have buttons, so the app is optional for everyday use; the Hush 2 plugs are the exception and run from the app. The Remote app works on iPhone and Android. On a Windows PC you need the Lovense USB Bluetooth adapter. Lovense lists a close-range Bluetooth reach of about 30 ft for toys like the Dolce and Flexer.

Lovense for couples and long distance
Lovense was built around long-distance couples, and it shows in the app: a partner can take over your toy from anywhere with an internet connection. For couples in the same bed, the Dolce is worn during sex, and pairing a Max 2 with a Nora lets each toy react to the other. Cleaning, charging and care
- Clean the toy before and after each use with warm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner.
- Check the water rating: IPX7 toys (Lush, Dolce, Flexer, Hush 2) can be rinsed and submerged; IPX6 toys (Nora, Domi 2, Max 2) can only be rinsed. Keep water out of charging ports.
- Use water-based lube. Lovense recommends it for its toys, and the Max 2 sleeve is TPE.
- Charge with the magnetic USB cable. If the charging light doesn’t come on, turn the magnetic tip 180 degrees.
- Lovense asks you to recharge a toy at least once every six months, even when you aren’t using it.

Yes. Tease and Toy is an authorized Lovense retailer, so every Lovense toy we sell is genuine and comes with the full manufacturer warranty: one year from the date of purchase (90 days on TPE sleeves).
How do I connect my Lovense toy to the app?
Install the free Lovense Remote app, turn on Bluetooth, switch the toy on and add it in the app. On a Windows PC you also need the Lovense USB Bluetooth adapter.
Can my partner control my Lovense from far away?
Yes. Invite your partner in the Lovense Remote app and they can control your toy over the internet from anywhere. In the same room, close-range control works over Bluetooth.
Do I need the app to use a Lovense toy?
For most models, no: Lush, Nora, Dolce, Domi 2, Max 2 and Lush Anal have buttons on the toy. The Hush 2 plugs are controlled through the app.
Which Lovense toys are waterproof?
Lush 3, Lush 4, Dolce, Flexer, Hush 2 and Lush Anal are IPX7, so they can go under water. Nora, Domi 2 and Max 2 are IPX6: fine to rinse, but not for the bath or shower.
Should I get the Lush 3 or the Lush 4?
Both are wearable app-controlled eggs with up to 7,000 vibrations per minute and an IPX7 rating. The Lush 4 is the newer model and adds an LED tail. Compare live prices in the table above.
My Lovense toy isn’t charging. What should I check?
Lovense toys use a magnetic USB cable. If the light doesn’t come on, turn the magnetic tip 180 degrees and reconnect. Lovense also asks you to recharge toys at least every six months so the battery doesn’t run flat in storage.
How long is the Lovense warranty?
One year from the date of original purchase against defects in materials and workmanship, and 90 days for TPE sleeves. The warranty belongs to the first buyer, so keep your order confirmation.
Is Lovense worth it?
You pay more than for a basic vibrator, and what you get is app control, long-distance play and toy-to-toy sync. If you only want buttons, a non-app toy costs less. Our reviews of the Max 2, Dolce and Domi 2 go into detail.
