Lovense Lush 4 Bluetooth Remote-Controlled Egg Vibrator

The Lovense Lush 4 is the newest version of Lovense’s wearable egg vibrator: a curved G-spot bulb that goes inside, with a tail that stays outside, controlled from the toy’s button, your phone, or a partner’s phone anywhere with a connection. What’s new is a tail that lights up in the colours you choose and a bigger, faster-charging battery.

If you already own a Lush 3, the Lovense Lush 4 upgrade is mostly about charging and battery time, not stronger vibration. Both list the same top intensity. If you are new to the Lush line, the comparison below also covers the smaller Lush Mini.

The tail is the part you see. On the Lovense Lush 4 it’s made of electroplated plastic, with an LED that can change colour with each vibration level. You set the colour for each level in the Lovense Remote app. If you’d rather keep things discreet, turn the light off in the app under Settings > Enable/Disable LED, and the toy behaves like an unlit Lush.

The tail also does a practical job. Lovense describes it as sturdy, so it helps keep the bulb against the G-spot.

The Lovense Lush 4’s headline figure is up to 350 minutes, but that’s at the gentlest settings. Lovense gives a range of 122 to 350 minutes depending on the level, with up to 120 hours on standby. Charging is quick: Lovense lists 45 minutes on the spec sheet and about 50 minutes in its FAQ, so allow under an hour.

• Switch it off before charging and attach the magnetic cable. The light stays red while it charges and goes out when it’s full.
• Don’t use it while it’s charging.
• If it sits in a drawer, Lovense asks you to recharge it at least once every six months.

The Lovense Lush 4 has a single button. Hold it for about 3 seconds to switch on (it gives a short buzz), and tap it to cycle through vibrations. That’s all you can do without a phone. Pairing takes a minute:

1. Install the free Lovense Remote app and turn on Bluetooth.
2. Hold the button until the light flashes, then tap the + in the app to search.
3. When the toy appears, tap Done. After that it reconnects on its own.

From the app you can make and store up to 10 of your own patterns, sync the vibration to music or to sound around you, or send a link so a partner can control it from another city. A PC needs the Lovense USB Bluetooth adapter. According to Lovense, the Lovense Lush 4 and the Ferri panty vibrator are among its most popular pairings, since the two can be worn together for G-spot and clitoral vibration.

Choose the Lovense Lush 4 for the longest sessions and the shortest charge. The Lush 3 still makes sense if you’d rather have an all-silicone toy with no light. The Lush Mini is the one for anyone who finds a full-size Lush too much to wear.

Before inserting the Lovense Lush 4, use plenty of water-based lube on the bulb and on yourself before you insert it, and add more as it dries. Lovense says not to use silicone or oil-based lube. Our lube guide explains why. The tail stays outside the body.

Wash the Lovense Lush 4 before and after every use with warm water and mild soap, or a toy cleaner, then let it dry fully before you put it away. It’s IPX7 waterproof, so the bath and shower are fine, but don’t boil it and keep it away from extreme heat and cold.
