Lovense Lush 3 Bluetooth Remote-Controlled Egg Vibrator

The Lovense Lush 3 is the classic app-controlled egg vibrator: an insertable G-spot bulb with an antenna tail that stays outside the body, controlled from your phone or by a partner anywhere in the world. Lovense describes it as the simpler version of the Lush 4, fully covered in silicone and without the light-up tail.

The Lovense Lush 3 is the one to pick if you like the original all-silicone look and don’t need the extra battery of the Lush 4. The Lush Mini is Lovense’s smaller bulb for anyone who finds the full-size Lush a lot to wear.

On its own, the Lush 3 has one button: hold it for about three seconds to switch on or off, and tap it to move through the built-in vibrations. Everything else happens in the free Lovense Remote app. Pair it once over Bluetooth and it should reconnect automatically next time.

For long-distance play, open the app’s Long-Distance tab and add your partner by username; once they accept, they can control your Lovense Lush 3 over the internet. • Use plenty of water-based lube on you and the toy before insertion. Lovense says silicone- or oil-based lube may affect the silicone casing; our lube guide explains the difference.
• Insert the bulb and keep the antenna tail outside the body. The part that sits outside is what gives you the control range.
• Bluetooth is not stable under water, so for bath play expect a weaker connection.
• Never use it anally; the manual is explicit. The Lovense Lush Anal is made for that.

1. Switch the Lovense Lush 3 off.
2. Clip the magnetic charger onto the charging port. If the solid red light doesn’t come on, turn the cable 180 degrees.
3. Plug the USB end into any USB port or USB wall adapter. A full charge takes about 80-85 minutes; the red light turns off when it’s done.
4. Don’t use the toy while it’s charging, and keep the magnetic end away from metal surfaces.
5. If you store it for a while, recharge it at least once every six months.

Clean it before and after each use with warm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner, dry it fully and keep it away from extreme heat or cold. Don’t boil it.

What is the difference between the Lovense Lush 3 and Lush 4?

Lovense calls the Lush 3 the simpler classic: it’s fully covered in silicone with no LED light. The Lush 4 adds a light-up tail, a longer listed run time (up to 350 minutes against up to 220) and a longer Bluetooth range (up to 105 m against 75 m outdoors). Both list the same top intensity of 7,000 vibrations per minute.

How long does the Lovense Lush 3 battery last?

Lovense’s product page lists up to 220 minutes per charge, while the Lush 3 user manual says up to 290 minutes. A full charge takes about 80 to 85 minutes on the magnetic cable, and it can sit on standby for up to 120 hours.

Can someone control the Lush 3 from far away?

Yes. The Lovense Lush 3 works with the Lovense Remote app. Close by, the toy connects to your phone over Bluetooth; for long-distance play your partner adds you by username in the app’s Long-Distance tab and controls it over the internet.

Can you use the Lush 3 in the shower or bath?

The Lovense Lush 3 is rated IPX7 waterproof, and Lovense says it’s fine for the shower or bath, but warns that the Bluetooth connection is not stable in or under water.

Can the Lovense Lush 3 be used anally?

No. The Lovense Lush 3 user manual says it should not be used anally under any circumstances. For anal play, Lovense makes the Lush Anal, which has a flared base.

Does it work without the app?

Partly. The single button on the Lovense Lush 3 turns it on and off (hold for about 3 seconds) and a tap cycles through its built-in vibrations. Remote control, custom patterns, music and long-distance play all need the free Lovense Remote app.
