Lovense Vulse Review: Thrusting Egg, Noise, Battery and Lush 4

The Lovense Vulse is an app-controlled love egg that thrusts. Instead of only vibrating, its accordion-style bulb pushes in and out, up to 120 strokes a minute with a 1 cm stroke, while it vibrates. Everything runs through the Lovense Remote app, including long-distance control by a partner.
That movement is the reason to buy it, and Lovense is open about the trade-offs: the Lovense Vulse is louder than its other eggs, it has a short battery, and it can slip when you stand up. Here is how to decide whether those matter for you.
Best for: Private or long-distance play where you want movement, not just buzz

Choose the Vulse if
- you want thrusting from a small egg
- it will be used at home or long distance

Choose the Lush 4 if
- you want to wear it out of the house
- quiet and battery life matter most
- vibration is enough
Using it
- Charge it on the magnetic cable (about an hour).
- Pair it in the Lovense Remote app.
- Apply water-based lube and insert the bulb with the antenna outside.
- Start on low; thrusting feels stronger lying down than standing.
- Clean the folds of the bulb carefully after use and dry it before charging.

What does the Lovense Vulse do?
It’s an egg-shaped toy that thrusts as well as vibrates. Lovense lists up to 120 strokes a minute with a 1 cm (10 mm) stroke, controlled from the Lovense Remote app.
How long does the battery last?
Up to about 65 minutes (1.08 hours) per charge, with roughly an hour to charge on the magnetic cable. Standby is up to 120 hours.
Is the Lovense Vulse loud?
Louder than Lovense’s quieter eggs. Lovense measured 62.5 dB on low, 63.8 dB on medium and 65.9 dB on high, and says the Vulse is louder than the Lush 3.
Can I wear the Vulse out of the house?
Lovense itself says it tends to shift or slide when you are upright, and recommends the Lush 4 for wearing out. The Vulse is better for private or long-distance play.
Is it waterproof?
Yes, Lovense rates it IPX7.
How do I clean it?
Wash it with warm water and mild soap or toy cleaner, paying extra attention to the folds of the accordion-style bulb, and dry it fully. Use water-based lube only.
