Tantus Tawse It Dildo Paddle Whip Overboard

The Tantus Tawse It Overboard is a silicone tawse: four tongues, each 3/8 inch thick and 8.5 inches long, on a textured handle. Silicone is dense and carries energy well, so Tantus says it takes very little strike force to land hard. This is a toy for experienced impact play.

The 1.5 x 6 inch handle also works for blunt, thuddy impact, and Tantus suggests it as a textured dildo. Because the Tawse It Overboard is solid silicone, you can boil it or put it in the dishwasher.

• Agree on a safe word and a scale (for example 1 to 10) before you start.
• Warm up with your hand, then the lightest touch of the tawse.
• Aim for fleshy areas: buttocks and upper thighs. Avoid the spine, kidneys, joints, face and neck.

What is a tawse?

A strap with split tongues, historically used for corporal punishment in Scottish schools until 1987, as Tantus notes. In kink it’s an impact toy that gives a sharp, stingy feel.

Can the handle be used as a dildo?

Tantus suggests the textured handle as a potential dildo. Only use it inside if you clean it thoroughly first, use plenty of lube, and never move it between anal and vaginal use without washing.
