Tenga Spinner Shell

The TENGA Spinner Shell (model 03 SHELL) is a reusable stroker with an internal coil that makes the sleeve twist as you push in, so every stroke adds a spin. Inside are fanned tiles with firm edges, which TENGA calls one of the boldest sensations in the Spinner range.

There are no motors. A spiral coil inside the sleeve expands and contracts as you insert, which turns a straight stroke into a twisting one. TENGA’s tip: holding the TENGA Spinner Shell near the tip (or the base) while you stroke makes the twist stronger.

TENGA rates every Spinner from 1 to 5 on three things: firmness (how firm the inside feels), stimulation (how intense it is) and diameter (how tight the fit is).

The TENGA Spinner Shell has the firmest interior of the five. For the most intense stimulation TENGA points to the Brick; the Tetra is the gentlest. We also stock the Spinner DX 01 Drops, which isn’t part of TENGA’s rating chart.

1. Pull back the rim gently, only as far as the coil. Unlike some TENGA sleeves, the Spinner isn’t made to be fully inverted.
2. Rinse the inside under running cold or lukewarm water with a mild, neutral soap. Skip alcohol and other cleaners.
3. Pat it dry with a towel.
4. Twist off the bottom of the case and stand the TENGA Spinner Shell in the clear drying section until it’s completely dry.
5. Store it in the case at cool to room temperature once it’s fully dry, to avoid mould.

TENGA also advises against using it on irritated or broken skin, and keeping it away from the nose and mouth.

Is the TENGA Spinner Shell reusable?

Yes. TENGA says it is reusable with proper washing and care, and the case doubles as a drying stand so you can air-dry it between sessions.

Shell or Beads: which TENGA Spinner should I get?

On TENGA’s own 1-5 scale the Shell is the firmer one (Firmness 4.5 against 2.5), while the Beads rates higher for stimulation (4.5 against 4). Both have a Diameter rating of 3, so they fit about the same.

How do you clean the TENGA Spinner Shell?

Pull back the rim only as far as the coil and wash the inside under running cold or lukewarm water with a mild, neutral soap. Don’t use alcohol or other cleaners. Pat it dry, then let it air-dry in the clear drying part of the case before you store it.

What lube should I use?

TENGA recommends its own HOLE LOTION, and a tester pouch comes in the box. Lubricate both the inside and the insertion point; TENGA warns that too little lube can make insertion difficult or uncomfortable.

Is the Spinner electric?

No. The twisting comes from the internal coil as you stroke, so there’s nothing to charge.
