Womanizer Next Black

The Womanizer Next is the Womanizer that lets you change how deep the air pulses go, not just how strong they are. Womanizer calls this 3D Pleasure Air with Climax Control: 14 intensity levels, each with three depth settings, from a silicone head that surrounds the clitoris without touching it directly. This listing is the Black finish.

It also has the features of Womanizer’s top models: Smart Silence, which keeps it quiet until it reaches your skin, an Autopilot with three automatic modes, and about four hours per charge. On the Classic 2, + and − change only the intensity. The Womanizer Next adds a third button for Climax Control. A short press steps through three depth levels and loops back to the first, and the LEDs show which one you’re on. Womanizer describes the effect as a deeper, fuller sensation.

Two more Womanizer Next button tricks are worth knowing. Holding + ramps the intensity up smoothly instead of one step at a time, and holding − for about a second is Afterglow: it drops both intensity and depth straight back to level 1.

Smart Silence is on by default. The Womanizer Next switches on, but the air only starts when the head is almost touching your skin, and it goes into standby when you aren’t using it. Two details from the quick start guide save a lot of confusion:

• Don’t hold the head against anything while you switch it on, or the sensor may not work as it should.
• With Smart Silence on, the toy turns itself off after 30 minutes if you don’t touch any button.
• You can switch Smart Silence off with a 2-second press if you’d rather the air ran all the time.

If the Womanizer Next sensor ever stops responding, switch the toy off, connect the charging cable for a couple of seconds to reset it, then unplug it and switch it back on.

Hold the Autopilot button for 2 seconds to start, and the Womanizer Next confirms with a buzz and a beep. It then changes intensity and depth on its own within the range you picked. Press briefly to change range, or hold again to return to manual control.

What does Climax Control actually do?

It changes how deep the air pulses go, separately from how strong they are. There are three depth levels. A short press of the Climax Control button moves to the next one and loops back after the third, and the LEDs show which depth you’re on. So the Womanizer Next has 14 intensity levels times three depths to choose from.

Womanizer Next or Premium 2: which should I get?

Both have 14 intensity levels, Smart Silence, Autopilot, 240 minutes of battery and a 5-year warranty. The Next adds 3D Pleasure Air and Climax Control, so you can also change the depth of the pulses. The Premium 2 costs less and is the more compact of the two.

What’s the difference between the Next and the Next Duo?

The Next Duo adds an insertable We-Vibe G-spot arm, with its own 14 vibration levels, 10 patterns and separate controls, to the same 3D Pleasure Air head. It’s bigger (274 g, 195 mm long) and runs for 120 minutes, half as long as the Womanizer Next.

Why won’t it start when I switch it on?

On a Womanizer Next that’s usually Smart Silence, which keeps the air off until the head is almost touching your skin. Don’t touch the head while switching on, or the sensor may not work properly. If it still won’t respond, Womanizer’s fix is to switch it off, attach the charging cable for a couple of seconds to reset it, then unplug it and switch it on again.

How does Autopilot work?

Hold the Autopilot button for 2 seconds and the toy buzzes and beeps to confirm. It then varies the intensity and depth on its own within one of three ranges: Soft (levels 1-6), Medium (6-11) or Intense (9-14). A short press switches between them, and the light pulses faster as the mode gets stronger.

Does it come with a wall charger?

No. The box has a USB cable with magnetic charging pins but no AC adapter, so use a computer or any USB plug. A full charge takes about 2 hours and gives up to 4 hours of use.
