Nixie Smooch Review: The Rechargeable Lipstick Vibrator

The Nixie Smooch is a bullet vibrator dressed as a lipstick. Pull off the cap and there is a small, rounded vibrating tip; put it back and it disappears into a make-up bag. Nixie gives it 10 functions (3 speeds and 7 modes), a lighted push-touch button and IPX5 showerproofing, in a metallic ombre finish.
Lipstick vibes are about discretion first and power second, so the real questions are how hidden it is, how strong a small motor can be, and when a regular bullet is the better buy. This review answers those.

A petite rechargeable bullet with a snug-fit cap for travel and storage, a lighted push-touch control and a USB charging cord. Nixie calls the motor powerful and whisper quiet.
How discreet is it?
Very. At about 3.5 inches with the cap on, the Nixie Smooch is the size of a real lipstick, and the cap keeps the button covered so it can’t switch on by accident in a bag. The lighted button is handy in the dark but worth remembering if you share a room.
Showerproof, not bath-proof
IPX5 means it handles water jets and splashes, so rinsing it and using it in the shower is fine. Don’t drop it in the bath or soak it. Dry it before you charge it.
