pjur AQUA is pjur’s everyday water-based lubricant, and the 3.4 oz (100 ml) bottle is its most common size. pjur says the water is absorbed by the skin for a soft, long-lasting glide, and that it leaves skin velvety rather than sticky.
It is a plain all-rounder: condom compatible, suitable for sex toys and made without perfume or added flavours. pjur also positions it for vaginal dryness and daily use. If you want one bottle that works with condoms and silicone toys alike, this is it.

GETTING THE MOST FROM A WATER-BASED LUBE
- Start with a small amount and add more as it absorbs; that is how water-based lubes behave.
- With a condom, put the condom on first, then apply pjur AQUA to the outside.
- Keep it away from your eyes and from irritated skin. Stop if irritation continues and see a doctor.
- Not sure between water and silicone? Read water-based vs silicone lube.
QUESTIONS ABOUT PJUR AQUA
Is pjur AQUA safe with condoms?
Yes. pjur says it is suitable for use with condoms and lists latex and polyisoprene condoms by name. Apply it to the outside of the condom once it is on.
Can I use pjur AQUA with silicone toys?
pjur calls it suitable for sex toys. As a water-based lube it is the usual choice for silicone toys, which silicone lube can damage.
Does it have a scent or taste?
No perfume or added flavours go into it, according to pjur.
What is in it?
pjur lists water, glycerin, ethoxydiglycol, phenoxyethanol, a guar-based thickener, hydroxyethylcellulose and citric acid.
Is it a contraceptive?
No. pjur notes it is not a contraceptive and is not spermicidal.
How do I clean it up?
It washes off with lukewarm water. Wipe up spills on smooth floors, because pjur warns it is slippery.
