Tenga Original Vacuum Cup

The TENGA Original Vacuum Cup is the cup that started TENGA’s CUP series: a pre-lubricated, single-use masturbator in a firm plastic case. An air hole on top lets you control the suction. It comes sealed, you open it, use it once and throw it away, so there’s nothing to clean.

Inside the TENGA Original Vacuum Cup the sleeve narrows in the middle, like an hourglass, so it squeezes tighter as you go in. On top is a small air hole with a valve. Leave it open and air flows in and out freely. Cover it with a fingertip once you’re inside and the TENGA Original Vacuum Cup creates a vacuum inside, which gives the suction. Cover and uncover it as you go to change how strong it feels.

1. Tear the wrapping off the bottom along the seam marked OPEN.
2. Peel the sticker off the air hole on top. If you forget, air can’t escape and going in is harder.
3. Pull off the cap to reveal the pre-lubricated opening. Leave the sponge inside: it holds the lotion and spreads it as you go in.
4. Use it, then put the cap back on and throw the TENGA Original Vacuum Cup away.

The TENGA Original Vacuum Cup doesn’t need extra lube. The Smooth Pad at the entrance seals the opening and coats you with lotion on the way in, which also stops it leaking.

How many times can you use a TENGA vacuum cup?

Once. TENGA designs its CUP series for one-time, disposable use and, for hygiene reasons, doesn’t recommend using a cup again. If you want something you can wash and keep, look at a reusable stroker like the TENGA Spinner Shell.

Is the Premium TENGA vacuum cup reusable?

No. The Premium Original Vacuum Cup belongs to the same CUP series, which TENGA makes for one-time use. Like the TENGA Original Vacuum Cup, it’s meant to be thrown away after a session.

Do I need to add lube?

Not usually. The TENGA Original Vacuum Cup is pre-lubricated, and its Smooth Pad spreads the lotion as you go in, so you don’t have to apply any. TENGA lists the lotion as water-based, with glycerin and preservatives such as phenoxyethanol and methylparaben, if you want to check the ingredients.

What is the air hole on top for?

Peel the sticker off the air hole before you start, so air can escape and you can slide in easily. Once you’re in, cover the hole with a fingertip and the cup holds a vacuum, which creates the suction. Lift your finger to release it.

Should I take out the sponge inside?

No. TENGA says to leave the sponge where it is. It holds the lotion in place and spreads it evenly when you insert.

What size is it?

TENGA lists an insertion length of about 5.5 inches and a width of about 1.77 inches inside a 6.1-inch case, and gives these as reference figures. If you want more room, TENGA makes a larger U.S. (Ultra Size) version at 7.1 inches tall.
