Male Rose 2 Review: Suction, Cleaning and Male Rose 3 Compared

The Male Rose 2 is a handheld suction-and-vibration stroker: you slide in, two side motors vibrate the sleeve and a pump pulls the air out in pulses, so it grips and releases rather than simply buzzing. It is the suction model in The Male Rose line; the Male Rose 3 is the motion model that thrusts and rotates.

Best for: Oral-style suction with your hands still free to set the pace
The maker lists 10 vibration modes from dual side motors and 5 sucking modes, one of which is a one-button “climax” mode that jumps straight to its strongest pattern. The sleeve is a super-stretchy, soft material with a 3D texture inside, built into the body.
What the specs do and don’t tell you
Two things are missing from the maker’s listing and matter when you buy: a run time and a waterproof rating. Plan to charge it before each session rather than relying on a figure, and treat it as a dry-room toy. The maker also doesn’t name the sleeve material for the 2 (it does say TPE for the 3), so treat it like TPE: water-based lube only, no silicone or oil-based products, and store it away from other toys.
Getting a good seal
- Charge it fully first.
- Lube yourself and the rim of the opening. Don’t fill the cup: pooled lube weakens the suction.
- Start on the lowest suction setting with vibration off, then add vibration.
- Hold the body still at first and let the suction work; move it slowly only once the seal holds.
- If you feel pinching or numbness, release and reposition. Suction should feel firm, never sharp.
The flush clean (and why it matters)
Because the suction pulls fluid into the chamber, the Male Rose 2 needs cleaning after every use, and the maker designed it to be cleaned without taking it apart:
- Fill the cup with warm, soapy water (mild soap or toy cleaner).
- Run the suction so the water is pulled through.
- Empty it, then repeat with plain warm water until no soap comes out of the bottom.
- Shake out the water and leave it to air dry, opening down, before storing.

Male Rose 2 vs Male Rose 3
The two look related but do different jobs. The 2 is about suction; the 3 uses three motors to move a clear cup up and down and round in a full circle while it vibrates, so it does the stroking for you. The 3’s sleeve comes out, which makes it easier to wash, but only the sleeve is waterproof.

Male Rose 2 questions
How do you clean the Male Rose 2?
You don’t take it apart. The Male Rose says to fill the cup with soapy water, run the suction, then repeat with plain warm water until no soap comes out of the bottom. Let it dry fully before you store it.
Can I use the Male Rose 2 in the shower?
The maker doesn’t publish a waterproof rating for the Male Rose 2, so keep it out of the shower and bath and clean it with the flush method instead.
Which lube works with it?
Water-based. Spread it around the opening and the sides rather than pouring it into the cup, so it doesn’t pool in the suction chamber.
How long does the battery last?
The Male Rose doesn’t publish a run time or charge time for the Male Rose 2. For comparison, it lists 50 minutes of use and 150 minutes of charging for the Male Rose 3.
Will it fit me?
The maker describes the sleeve as super-stretchy and suited to a variety of widths, but it doesn’t publish an insertion depth or size range. If you are much larger than average, a stroker with a published opening size is the safer buy.
Male Rose 2 or Male Rose 3?
Pick the 2 for suction and vibration and an easy flush clean. Pick the 3 if you want the motors to thrust and rotate for you; its sleeve comes out for washing.
