Magic Wand Mini HV-135 Rechargeable Massager

The Magic Wand Mini is the compact, rechargeable version of the famous Magic Wand. It keeps the deep, rumbly vibration the wand is known for, with a motor that reaches about 6,000 RPM, in a 9.6-inch body that weighs roughly half as much as the full-size model.

The Magic Wand Mini has three speeds, a soft silicone head with a flexible neck, and about 2.5 hours of cordless use per charge. It’s easier to hold, easier to aim and easier to pack, which makes it a good first wand and a practical choice for partner play.

Full-size Magic Wands are powerful but heavy: Vibratex lists the Rechargeable at 1.3 lb with a 2.25-inch head. The Magic Wand Mini cuts that to about 9.7 oz and a 1.9-inch head, so it’s much easier to hold for a long session or to position during sex.

The trade-off is a little less power and a smaller contact area. The Mini’s top speed is about 6,000 RPM versus about 6,300 for the full-size Rechargeable, and it has three steady speeds instead of four speeds plus patterns. Its lowest setting is the most rumbly, and the top setting feels stronger and more focused.

1. Charge it fully first with the included adapter.
2. Start on the lowest speed. Press the power button, then use the buttons to step up through the three speeds.
3. Use the whole head. Rest it over the clitoris or vulva, or use it on sore muscles. Light pressure is enough, let the vibration do the work.
4. Add lube if you like. A little water-based lube on the silicone head makes it glide more smoothly.
5. Clean it after each use with a damp cloth or toy cleaner, then let it dry.

The Magic Wand Mini hits a sweet spot between size and power, but it isn’t for everyone.

Vibratex rates the Magic Wand Mini at about 2.5 hours of cordless use on a full charge. Higher speeds use the battery faster. It charges with the included power adapter, which works on 100 to 240V outlets.

Three: approximately 3,500, 5,000 and 6,000 RPM. It has steady speeds only, not pulsing patterns. If you want patterns, the Magic Wand Rechargeable and Micro both have them.
