We-Vibe Sync 2 Rechargeable Remote Control Couples Vibrator Green Velvet

The We-Vibe Sync 2 is We-Vibe’s original C-shaped couples vibrator: one arm goes inside against the G-spot, the other rests on the clitoris, and a hinge between them bends to fit your body. It’s made to be worn during sex, so both partners share the vibration, and it can be run from the free We-Vibe App by either of you, in the same room or from another city.

This is the Green Velvet colour. We-Vibe also makes three close relatives we stock: the Sync O with a softer O-shaped inner arm, the smaller Sync Go and the Chorus with a squeeze remote. The comparison further down shows how they differ.

What sets the Sync line apart from a rigid C-shaped vibrator is the hinge. On the We-Vibe Sync 2 you bend the two arms closer together or further apart until the inner arm sits on your G-spot and the outer arm rests on your clitoris. We-Vibe asks you to bend it carefully, since forcing it can damage the toy.

To put it in: add a little water-based lube to the We-Vibe Sync 2 and to your body, switch on your favourite mode, gently insert the G-spot arm into the vagina and let the outer arm settle on the clitoris. Then your partner can join you.

We-Vibe’s own sources disagree on this, so here’s what each one says. The Sync manual linked from We-Vibe’s product page says Sync comes already paired to its We-Vibe remote, and explains how to re-pair it and how to change its CR2032 battery. The box list on the same product page names the toy, a USB cable, a quick-start guide, a storage bag and a 2 mL We-Vibe lube sample, and no remote.

Press the We-Vibe button on the We-Vibe Sync 2 to switch it on, and press again to step through its 10 modes. For the app, pairing takes three steps:

1. Hold the control button for 10 seconds until the light flashes. That resets the toy.
2. Open the We-Vibe App, then hold the button until the toy vibrates twice and the light flashes. It’s now in pairing mode.
3. When it vibrates three times and the light stops flashing, it’s paired.

The We-Vibe Sync 2 pairs with one remote or one phone at a time. For best results, keep that phone within about 30 feet in a straight line, or about 20 feet in any direction. Choose the We-Vibe Sync 2 if you want the adjustable original at a mid price. The Sync O runs longest, the Sync Go is the budget and travel pick, and the Chorus is the one for couples who want a squeeze remote. More ideas are in our guide to couples toys.

Charge the We-Vibe Sync 2 for about 90 minutes on the magnetic USB cable. A fast-blinking light means it’s charging, a steady light means it’s full, and no light means no power or a cable that isn’t seated properly. Don’t use or clean it while it’s charging, and top it up now and then even when you aren’t using it.

The We-Vibe Sync 2 is IPX7 waterproof. Rinse it with warm water and a toy cleaner, then dry it with a lint-free cloth. The manual also warns:

• it is not designed for anal use
• its magnets can affect pacemakers, so don’t use it directly over one, and keep bank cards with magnetic stripes away from it
• keep it below 45 °C, and stop using it if the silicone shows cracks

Should I buy the Sync 2 or the Chorus?

Compared with the We-Vibe Sync 2, the Chorus adds a Squeeze Remote (squeeze harder for stronger vibration), Touch-sense receptors and a charging case, and usually costs a little more. The We-Vibe Sync 2 is the simpler toy and lists a longer run time: up to 120 minutes against the Chorus’s 90. Both bend to fit and work with the We-Vibe App.

Does the Sync 2 come with a remote?

We-Vibe’s manual says Sync comes paired to its We-Vibe remote out of the box, but the current box list on We-Vibe’s own site names only the toy, a USB cable, a guide, a storage bag and a lube sample. If a physical remote matters to you, ask us before ordering. Either way, the free We-Vibe App works as the remote.

Can my partner control it from another city?

Yes. You both install the We-Vibe App, you pair the We-Vibe Sync 2 to your phone, then choose Long distance play in the app and send your partner an invite. Their phone then controls the toy through yours.

How far does the Bluetooth reach?

We-Vibe says it connects best within about 30 feet in a direct line of sight, or about 20 feet in any direction. Keep the paired phone or remote close if you move between rooms.

Can the Sync 2 be used anally?

No. The manual says plainly that the We-Vibe Sync 2 is not designed for anal use. For anal play, choose a toy made for anal use.

What lube should I use?

We-Vibe’s instructions say to use a little water-based lube on the toy and your body, and a 2 mL sample of We-Vibe’s own lube comes in the box. Our lube guide explains why water-based is the safe choice for silicone toys.

Is the remote waterproof too?

No. The We-Vibe Sync 2 itself is IPX7 waterproof, but the We-Vibe remote is only splashproof (IPX4). Don’t submerge it; wipe it with a damp cloth and gentle soap. It runs on a replaceable CR2032 coin cell.
